Colin is a parish councillor for Alveley, most recently elected unopposed in the May 2025 elections and the Shropshire County Councillor for the area, again elected to this position following the May 2025 elections. He has lived in the village for over 50 years and is an active member of many groups and projects. He is a member of the staffing committee.
