Christine is a parish councillor for Alveley. She was born in Shropshire and after leaving the area for university and work, returned in 1999 to settle in the Bridgnorth area, moving to Alveley in 2021. She was co-opted as a councillor in the summer of 2022 and stood for election in May 2025, elected unopposed. She is vice-chair of the parish council and chair of both the Events & Communications Committee and the Staffing Committee. She is also one of the parish council representatives for the Alveley Charities.
